Another Random Act of Kindness!

Thursday, November 8, Julie Chambers donated one of her kidneys to Kim, a person she did not know before she started the process. Here is their story.

Julie’s kidney started working in Kim even before the transplant surgery was completed. Both Julie and Kim are recovering well. In fact, Julie’s recovery is so remarkable that she went home today.

Harry’s 2 Year Liver Donation Anniversary

Two years ago today, Dr. Sukru Emre of Yale-New Haven Hospital removed the left lobe of Harry’s liver and transplanted into Baby Arianna. She was just 10 pounds at 11 months and is now doing just fine.
